• 4-MIX® engine The 1.4 kW STIHL 4-MIX® engine combines the advantages of a two-stroke and a four-stroke engine - it is economical, smooth, responsive and powerful. It produces less emissions and doesn't need an oil service.
• Long-life air filter system Together with the compensator that is integrated into the carburettor, the long-life air filter system offers long cleaning intervals and reliable engine protection.
• QUICKSTOP DRILL BRAKE FOR SAFE WORK. The QuickStop drill brake stops the drill if your earth auger gets stuck in the ground and causes the trigger lever to hit your thigh. The braking device ensures that the engine no longer transmits its force to the drill element, while the engine and drill element remain coupled. This means that you can simply unscrew the jammed drill in an anti-clockwise direction.
• Vibration dampening frame The vibration-dampening frame with four vibration elements provides comfortable working and reduces fatigue when drilling. The engine is positioned separately from the handle frame, allowing easier working over longer periods
